Any known issues with truck stalling randomly? Fuel filter & fuel pump replaced.

(1999 Cadillac Escalade)
It stalls like it ran out of gas, has more than half a tank. CHECK GAGES light doesnt come on anymore for low fuel. Again, fuel filter & pump have been replaced, STILL shutting of randomly.

No service bulletin (TSB) for that problem, just looked, Cadillac do want the electrical connection replaced when a new pump is fitted they do have a TSB for that.
You would need to have a fuel pressure gauge "teed" into the fuel rail and the gauge taped to the windscreen to verify fuel is present when the engine stalls. Could be a vacuum leak or a bad idle control motor. There is a company that independent auto repair shops get their information from, this same information is available inexpensively for people that work on their own cars.. The information is year make and model specific, covering repair procedures, torque specifications, fluid capacities and specifications, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect.... Thanks. I was told that escalades are sensitive to changes, but I have not changed anything. If any replacements have been made, theyve been replaced by what is recommended for that year make, n model. We have not "rigged" anything on it. Was running great until 3-4 weeks ago. Even tried fuel cleaner, but not injector cleaner. What is the electrical connection called specifically? I can ask about that. It wasn't mentioned our recommended to us when we bought the fuel pump.
