Any easy way to fix paddle side mirrors that will no longer stay in position?

(1991 Ford Ranger)

You probably have to buy a new mirror, pretty easy to replace. Look at www.rockauto.com, www.partstrain.com or similar website. Several "aftermarket/non OE Ford" mirrors that are pretty good and relatively cheap.
