Should I use any kind of sealant with a rubber gasket on a cast aluminum pan on my 1983 turbo 350? What would be the torque on the pan bolts?

There should be some torque specs with the pan and yes there should also be some directions for where to place the silicone. 100 -120 inch pounds of torque is pretty standard for a rubber gasket though that is about 8-10 ft lbs. ( 8x 12 + 96 10x 12 = 120 etc )
