Q: Air Suspension light on 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis

Rookie cbe0621eac06868b3efe0d8d1d3611e23c60d3114864ea2ec19a68cfbd3eebab
Air suspension light went on, rear of vechicle went down, and about 20 minutes later went back up. Changed fuse for suspensior and changed Relay fuse. However now today rear of vechicle is back down. Also does my car have shocks/ struts or air bags that have a leak? Just happened with put warning.

car does have shocks. rear dropped because you have a leak in one or both of the air bags. if not replaced soon, will damage compressor and it will also have to be replaced. just for info, parts stores now carry a kit to replace air bags with coil springs. have done several as air suspension parts fairly expensive. kit cost 200 to 300. labor about same. both air bags, compressor and labor over 1000
