Q: air ride electrical?? on 1997 Lincoln Mark VIII

i have no air leaks i changed out the solenoid on the bags but no difference what are the electrical problems could i have fuses are good nothing shows on scan tool i am only having problems with the rear i have put new motor on the system it worked great for last 9 months there was pressure on bag when i changed the solenoids no pressure since starting the car my second question can you use the the springs and shocks for the rear from a 97 t-bird ? i know its the same rear set up just air ride and can you do away with just the rear i know this is a stupid question but money is really tight

I'm having a hard time finding out what problem you are having. You've explained a great deal...just not exactly what symptoms you are experiencing. I have strong knowledge of the system -- just need more information from you.
the air bags in the rear are not lifting the suspension the air ride constantly comes on but are not able to find any leaks there are no noises other than the compressor coming on really i need to know what can i look at replacing as electrical that may be inhibiting the rear from working what are possible problems the bags are good i just need to get it off the ground so i can find a job please any info is appreciated as well as what can be used from junkyard to replace with shocks and springs from 97 t-bird
Did you check the drier? The drier could be leaking. This is the plastic part after the compressor that has the air lines coming ouf of it.

OR, the compressor could be just plain too weak to handle lifting the vehicle.

Last, regarding your swap with a T-Bird - i'm not a supporter of that idea at all. There are certainly differences, and i'm not sure entirely what they are, but it's not like all those parts you will need are cheap either. My suggestion is to do it the right way and get the car back to it's proper working order - and enjoy the factory air suspension.
