Air Bag Light, Head Light, Ingition Coil Code

(2003 Volkswagen Golf)
in Milford, CT on May 27, 2009
Two days ago the air bag lihgt came on, tonight the low beams decided to become very dim (high beams are fine). I ran a code check and it says the ingition coil A malfunction?
Could all this be the coil needing replacement?(and where is the coil ocated?)

This sounds like a voltage issue. When the battery voltage goes below a certain point, the Air Bag Light might come on, and the lights will also dim. Have the battery, charging system and cables checked. The ignition coil will not cause this, but these do fail and you don't want to be driving with a bad coil, it can damage your catalytic converter $$$
