Problem Description and Possible Solution
Illuminated of the airbag warning light may be caused by a lost connection between the clockspring (behind the steering wheel) and the steering wheel-mounted electrical components. Other steering wheel-mounted controls like the horn, speed (cruise) control, or radio controls (if equipped) may be inoperative. There is a lifetime warranty on the clockspring as specified in a combination of recall campaigns. Airbag light sometimes comes on (perhaps several times a week; maybe 1 to 5% of the time) when turning the steering wheel, usually when making a right turn. Light goes out in about 15 seconds and usually stays off.
I can't the horn to work, the cruise don't work. The passenger window comes down but takes it own times to raise.
the 2 rear windows stop working/ the airbag protector light stays on. The right hand sliding door handle breaks easy.. I saw another van that has the same door knob missing.
I replaced the clock spring in my Chrysler Sebring. The horn quit, airbag light came on, engine light came on and the passenger windows stopped working. I hope this fixes my problem.
