After I come to a stop, I always get slow acceleration until around 15-20 mph.

(1999 Cadillac Escalade)
Had rebuilt tranny put in (right before relocating to another state and warranty is expired) and now after I come to a stop or when I first start up and put in drive, I press firmly on the gas pedal to accelerate and it is very slow until around 15-20 mph. If I put the gear in "1" it pulls off just fine but I don't want to manually shift between first, second and third gears. I got trouble codes relating to 1-2 and 3-4 shift solenoids, oxygen sensor, ignition misfire, trans range sensor, trans fluid pressure manual valve position switch and torque converter clutch powertrain control module. I was told that replacement of one part could clear more than one trouble code. Due to finances, I would like to prioritize my repairs but afraid that shop will just advise on whichever one is the "big job." Thanks in advance for any helpful info!

starting out in second gear will burn up the clutches. you have multiple problems by the code list. both the engine and trans codes need attention now before you do more damage
from the sounds of it, you do not trust the shop. go to a shop you trust and take there word for what they tell you.

Thank you for your response Roy (mastertech6371). I will definitely get it look at asap. My trust is pretty low because I've been told that my SUV had a head gasket problem (leaking antifreeze) when in fact it was the water pump! As I get repairs done, I'll try to come back and update.
