A/c wont blow cold

(1996 Honda Accord)

a/c wont blow cold only slightly cool compressor comes on had system evaced and replaced a/c dryer then had recharged still same time of recharge said no leaks any ideas

You should check to see if there are any restrictions in the system. Expansion valves are a common restriction point on these vehicles. Only downfall is have to pull out evaporator to replace the valve. Any good tech can tell by a/c gauge readings if a restriction is present in the system. Hope this helps.

I know this thread is old, but this may help others who read up on this problem.... COOL but not COLD sounds like the a/c is fighting hte heater. Check that the hot water valve is closing in the engine compartment or easier yet, clamp off one of the heater hoses with some vice grips. If this helps at all, hot water is flowing inside when it shouldn't.
