AC isn't cooling as well as it should.

If it's just low on freon that's okay but if it's more than that what is a reasonable cost?

If it's low on refrigerant, there is more than that. A/C does not "burn up" or "consume" refrigerant, if it is low there is a leak. Where the leak is will determine the cost of fixing.
