my abs sensorloght is on and I keep hearing a grinding sound when I press the gas pedel, is this a major fix or a replacement osf the sensor.

There is know way to tell exactly what the problem with the ABS system on your 2006 Ford Explorer with out pulling the fault codes from the ABS control module. That would be the first step in determining exactly what is causing your ABS light to turn on.
