I don't buy it (literally). there's no reason for this with modern fuel and injection systems. The service writer is trying to get a bonus per sale of something you don't need. If a mechanic wants to sell this service, he should be able to tell you why you need it in this day and age. I'd agree that many years ago, this type of service may have helped many cars, not not nowadays. Keep away from people who want to sell you an injector service unless your car is very high mileage, and then it may be a good idea every few years....
