    OBD-II Code Transmission may not shift properly is defined as a Transmission Friction Element "G" Stuck On

    The Hybrid Control Module monitors the transmission clutch for proper operation. If the Control Module detects the clutch is not releasing as commanded, code P07AF will be set. The hybrid control module may also place the vehicle in "limp home", limiting available engine/transmission performance to prevent additional damage.
