What Does P0088 Code Mean?

    OBD-II Code P0088 is defined as a Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High

    The engine computer (PCM) monitors the actual fuel pressure and adjusts the Fuel Pump's operation to meet the desired fuel pressure needed to keep the engine running. If the PCM sees that the fuel pressure is too high, code P0088 will set.
