my toyota tundra makes a loud clunk once i come to a stop it feels like something rolls and hits underneath. sometimes delayed but will happen. also recently it started making loud noise over 45 mph, i thought it was coming from the tires being worn but i bought 4 new tires and the noise is still there. please advise. thanks

I have the sort of same problem. I get the clunking sound when I stop. sometimes I get the delay also.

I noticed that if I apply grease to the drive shaft fitting the noise goes away. There are 8 grease fitting on the 4*4 drive shaft.

Every time I get an oil change I get the drive shaft greased at the same time. (I watch them do it)

Hope this helps
