2004 ford freestar, cleaned battery post, now the radio wont play.

Had to jump start my freestar, did fine for several days then the same problem. I cleaned the terminals ( batt. checked fine). after reconnecting, starts good but the radio wont come on. Replaced the battery a while back and that time the CD changer quit working.

The radio probably has antitheft on it. when the power is lost it needs to be reset by entering the code for the radio. If you don't know the code look in your owners manual sometimes it is written in there on a page in the radio section. If you still have no luck call your local dealer and give them your vin. they can tell you the code.
