Q: 2003 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 on 2003 Porsche 911

I have a 2003 Porsche 911 and just starting today the key is hard to come out and when I do get it out it sais the key is still in the ignition. As well, the radio, wipers and fan were not working. I played around with the key a little and then then everything worked. Would this be the ignition switch or something more?

Very likely in the ignition switch but let me be more clear. The switch is the electrical portion and the key and tumbler is the mechanical portion of the "ignition switch" assembly. Considering you have trouble removing the key, I would lean toward the key and tumbler due to wear and tear. Do you have many other keys on your ring? Too much weight on the switch can cause this problem. If you do have extra stuff on there, try removing the ignition key from the ring and try it alone. It may get you by for a bit.
