What could be wrong with my car? It lost all power, started jumping and jerking when I gave it gas. Now when I start it, it runs rough and the engine jumps and jerks. And it backfires. WHAT COULD IT BE? Please any suggestions would be welcomed. I don't have any idea. I really need my car. It is my only means of transportation. Please help.

You will needs to start with the basics. Checking fuel pressure, scanning the car for codes etc. If you don't normally work on cars the last thing you want to do is guess and waste money by replacing parts that haven't failed. I suggest you bring it to a shop for a proper diagnosis. Use this link to find a good shop near you.
