The upper control arm is part of your front suspension - We would be more than happy to inspect them at no cost to see what needs to be replaced - if anything - and what the costs would be. The A/C sounds like you might have an issue with the blower inside the vehicle. when you say you turn it up does that mean you turn the fan speed up and it doesn't blow any faster?? The puddle by the right front tire....is it clear water or does it have a color??? We would be more than happy to inspect the vehicle at no cost to you and let you know what is wrong. Based on your description there could be several things causing your issues. The 1st question I would have as well is if you have a check engine light on. If you do then you would need to take the vehicle to a qualified repair facility that can read the code & diagnose that issue. The jumping could be a brake issue or a tire issue or could also be a missfire. The missfire would normally set the check engine light. It is not normal. The headlight assemblies need to be water tight because of the type of halogen bulb that they use. The dealer should replace it for you if you are still under warranty....they will however need to see the condensation in the light & may need to take a picture of it that way in order to warranty it for you. Sometimes we have seen the Idle Air Control Valves get plugged up and not cause a light to come on. When they get plugged it can make the idle very irratic and vehicle may even stall when coming to a stop. This has been a common problem for us here in Southern California for a few years....it might be the climate or the fuel but it is common. We would be more than happy to inspect the vehicle for you at no cost and let you know what the costs would be. There are many things that can cause the symptoms that you are having and unfortunately the only way to know exactly what is wrong is to inspect the vehicle. I hope this helps!!!! P1166 is a failure in the heater circuit in the Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor. This code can come up for several different things however it is most commonly due to a bad Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor. There are several different companies that make a sensor for that vehicle. We try to stay away from universal parts, we try to only use a direct fit part by the origional part manufacturer. There are several items that can cause that condition. The most common items are the distributor, ignition module or even the ignition switch. Code P1456 is an Evaporative System Code & is unrelated to the other 2 codes. It could be as simple as a loose or bad fuel cap however keep in mind that if you find it loose & tighten it the light may not go out right away. Usually the nut that holds down the arm gets loose and the wiper can then move where it wants. There is a plastic cover at the base of the wiper that covers the nut. If you are getting water on the spark plugs you could have a head gasket that is bad. Under normal conditions you should not be getting water in the cylinders at all. Have you been losing coolant? Has the vehicle been running warmer than normal? These are things that should be checked out.

If the lights are coming on as soon as you start the vehicle it means that the ABS system is failing its self check. When the lights are on the ABS system will not function if you are in a hard braking or panic stop situation.

You could purchase the parts and do the work yourself - I don't know what Auto Zone or those places charge but the Ignition coil is $111.00 - the wire set is $70.00 and the Motorcraft Spark Plugs are $9.00 each - That is over $200.00 just in parts without labor. I usually recommend having the vehicle professionally diagnosed....It may cost a few dollars but it is better than replacing parts that you can't afford and that not fixing the problem.

Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle prior to using this diagnostic procedure. See: A L L Diagnostic Trouble Codes ( DTC ) > Testing and Inspection

CIRCUIT/SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
The crankshaft position (CKP) system variation learn feature is used to calculate reference period errors caused by slight tolerance variations in the crankshaft, and the crankshaft position sensor. The calculated error allows the engine control module (ECM) to accurately compensate for reference period variations. This enhances the ability of the ECM to detect misfire events over a wider range of engine speed and load.

The CKP system variation compensating values are stored in ECM memory after a learn procedure has been performed. If the actual CKP variation is not within the CKP system variation compensating values stored in the ECM, DTC P0300 may set.

If the CKP system variation values are not stored in the ECM memory, DTC P0315 sets.

CONDITIONS FOR RUNNING THE DTC
- DTCs P0016, P0106, P0107, P0108, P0117, P0118, P0122, P0123, P0132, P0261, P0262, P0264, P0265, P0267, P0268, P0270, P0271, P0324, P0325, P0335, P0336, P0340, P0351, P0352, P0402, P0404, P0405, P0406, P0488, P0502, and P0700 are not set.
- The engine coolant temperature (ECT) is more than 65°C (149°F).
- DTC P0315 runs continuously once the above conditions are met.

CONDITIONS FOR SETTING THE DTC
The ECM detects that the CKP system variation values are not stored in memory.

ACTION TAKEN WHEN THE DTC SETS
DTC P0315 is a Type B DTC.

CONDITIONS FOR CLEARING THE DTC
DTC P0315 is a Type B DTC.

CIRCUIT/SYSTEM TESTING

IMPORTANT: The CKP System Variation Learn Procedure may have to be repeated up to 5 times before the procedure is learned.

Perform the CKP System Variation Learn Procedure.

1. If the scan tool displays NOT learned this ignition, inspect for the following conditions:
- A worn or damaged crankshaft or crankshaft bearings
- Debris between the CKP sensor and the reluctor wheel
- A damaged reluctor wheel
- Excessive crankshaft runout
- Any interference of the CKP sensor or CKP sensor signal to the control module
2. If the control module is unable to complete the learn procedure, replace the control module.
3. If the vehicle passes the Circuit/System Verification Test, then operate the vehicle within the conditions for running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that are captured in the Freeze Frame/Failure Records List.

It all depends what is wrong. Usually the light will flash if there is a malfunction in the system. If the light is staying on I would recommend taking the vehicle to a tire or repair shop and have all of the tire pressures set. It is very important that they all have the same pressure and that they are not over inflated as well as under inflated.

The vehicle needs to be properly diagnosed. When diagnosed the technician should be able to tell you what is wrong. Sometimes that can take several hours to do properly. I have never had a Honda give me innacurate information. I would suggest taking it to another shop that may have better experience with Hondas. We have been servicing them since 1978 and exclusively from 1978 to 1990.

There are many sensors like the crank shaft & cam shaft sensors that, if they go bad will not send the signal to the computer that the engine is turning so the computer never puts fuel in the cylinder. It should not be very difficult to diagnose if you get it to a shop that has the equipement to test it properly.

Nissan has had issues with the cam shaft & crank shaft sensors on the Altimas. That is probably the first place to look. The only way to be sure of the repair is to test the systems when the vehicle is exhibiting the symptoms.

Although the Challenger is a fun car it is rated as a lesses quality vehicle to your prior Nissans. You can do a search to verify but the vehicle should have at least a 3 year/36,000 mile comprehensive factory warranty that covers just about everything. That warranty went into effect on the vehicles in service date (First day of origional purchase). Then it should have a powertrain warranty that should go for at least 5 years/50,000 miles. If the owners manual is in the glove box it will tell you exactly what the car has for a factory warranty. If you are looking at an extended warranty that goes out to 100,000 miles then it would be something to consider but if it just goes to 60,000 miles I don't know if it is worth it.

What it sounds like is that your "Check Engine" Light is not coming on because the bulb burned out or someone took it out. With it not working you did not know that you were driving around with vehicle problems. The codes represent different systems in the vehicle and need to be properly diagnosed and repaired as well as the light fixed in order to pass smog. I am not sure of the question. There is not a specific fix for P0741 Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid Performance. There are several TSB's (Technical Service Bulletin) from Toyota on this code however the vehicle would need to be checked & diagnosed by a repair shop that has the correct equipment to do this.
The first step would be to take the vehicle to a repair facility where they car get the code or codes from the computer and diagnose the problem. At that point you should know what is wrong and the costs involved in the repair.

Unfortunatly you have 1 light that warns you of a problem whether it is a transmission, engine or emission problem so it is possible to have a problem with an oxygen sensor today and have it repaired and then the light come on in a few days for a transmission issue however it sounds like the dealer is guessing instead of diagnosing....dealers are pretty notorious for doing that....We would be more than happy to take a look and give you a second opinion if you would like.

Generally trouble codes just tell you what system in the vehicle has a malfunction - Many times people will guess as to what is wrong & just start replacing parts. The best recommendation is to find a facility that can properly diagnose the car & then let you know what needs to be repaired. The code P0780 generally relates to a transmission fault & could be an issue with the transmission itself or one of the many electronic devices that control the transmission.

Depending on your mileage it may be covered by the vehicle manufacturer emission warranty - I would call the cadillac dealer & see if you still have any warranty left - Some emission warranties can be for as long as 10 Years or 100,000 miles.

Not likely rings on a Toyota but valve stem seals are very possible. If you have Toyota Extra Care extended warranty of if it was purchased as a certified used car then they are going to need to see receipts that you changed the oil every 5 ,000 miles. That is the biggest reason for this failure is lack of maintenance. You will also have to take it to a Toyota dealer for these warranties to be honored. If you have a warranty other than those then you may be able to go anywhere. Good Luck!!!.
