assuming everything was ok prior to this repair, it will need an idle relearn. Roy

AWESOME! IT WAS, SO HOW IS THE IDLE RELEARN DONE? DO I NEED TO GO TO A MECHANIC FOR THIS?
COMMENT by , November 21, 2011
yes. it has to be done through a scan tool. Roy

Hmmm, if the battery was disconnected for a long time (more than an hour) yes. Fire up the vehicle, let it warm, then drive the crap out of it! You will have it die at lights/stops. After a few, it will re-learn everything. Same issue on 2007 SX-4 and 2001 and 2002 Vitara.
