What is cost to replace starter motor????

    Cost of the starter varies. I recently replaced starter, i bought it for $67 in ebay..Its an OEM one. I payed $85 for replacing it.

    The answer is correct in the price for the part will vary by year model and make. But the install itself if made by a mechanic who knows what he's doing will take about 15minutes and the repair should cost between $40-50
    thats just labor. Installation in my shop is in the middle I charge $45 to install a stater
