My wiper decides to not work in cold snowy weather caused me to rethink my investment plus other issues with the vehicle at 50k miles such as leaky 4 matic strut, manifold sensor seals leaking in the engine. the wiper works fine in warmer weather. what is the problem. my opinion german engineering sucks for the cost of that suv

THE LEAKING STRUT AND MANIFOLD SENSORS ARE COMMON. THE WIPER ISSUE COULD BE DUE TO RAIN SENSOR OR LOAD SENSOR PROBLEM. THE VEHICLE HAS TO BE CHECKED OUT WITH DIAGNOSIS SOFTWARE. IF YOU ONLY HAVE 50K AND IT IS ONLY 4 YEARS OLD I WOULD GO BACK TO THE DEALER AND TALK TO THE SERVICE OR GENERAL MANAGER AND GET THEM TO REPAIR UNDER WARRANTY. THEY CAN AND IF YOU PUSH THE ISSUE THEY WILL COVER IT. IF NOT A SPECIALTY SHOP WOULD NEED TO DIAG THE PROBLEM. GOOD LUCK. PS. IF YOU GET KNOWHERE CALL MBZ OF NORTH AMERICA. NUMBER IS IN YOU OWNERS MANUAL.
