would the master cylinder cause the brakes to lock up? on 1995 Ford Probe

I changed the calipers and the brakes and the hoses and the brakes still continue to lock up can only drive maybe 2 blocks. also changed the paportion valve but was from salvage yard

Yes, if it stays in the depressed position it would lock up the brakes by keeping the fluid under pressure. Similiar to driving with your foot on the brake and hitting the gas.

Is it one wheel or all 4 that are 'locking up'? master cyl/ booster inspected? Drum or disc in rear?
