I needed a new front driver side tire... and was told that they could not do the alignment because the camber, which holds the wheel aligned, needed repairing and would cost $150.
Would I need my cambers repaired to do a wheel alignment? on 2000 Ford Explorer
there is a kit if the camber needs to be changed.
so would that estimate be in the ballpark for the 'kit'? am trying to figure out if the alignment will cost more on top of the camber kit, or if the camber kit is necessary for the alignment?...
kit is usually priced separate from the alignment. shop should be able to give you total price of kit and alignment. 150 should be for both.
