Question: Would a 1995 transmission fit in a 1994 Mazda Protege' LX

I need a transmission for my 1994 Mazda Protege' LX and i was wondering if there is any difference between a 1994 and a 1995 transmission in the mazda protege LX.

    I believe that the '94 and the '95 are mechanically similar but differently controlled. I don't think it'd work. the only way I'd try it is if the connectors on the transmissions are exactly the same but I don't think they are. Sorry. You could call a transmission shop.
