Question: Wont turn over. it just makes a clicking sound

I came out of the mall, tired to start my 2004 Kia Sorento LX. It will not turn over. It just makes a clicking sound. The interior lights are working and the headlights are working.

    It sounds like the starter/starter solenoid has failed but check the battery connections cables ect.... Try to jump start the car using another car, let the other car run for a few minutes before trying to start your Kia! If it is the original battery it is 6 years old and may b at the end of its life.
