Van has new or replaced everything, including battery, cable connectors, starter, electronic distributor, plug wires, plugs, relays. Will not start when cold. Electrical system checks out. Fault code is 12-26-55. Runs rough and engine light comes on after a few seconds of running.

Check your fuel pump operation. Fuel pressure and fuel volume is critical. A defective check valve in the fuel pump will allow fuel to drain back into the fuel tank, thus a long crank period to start. FYI, If the engine cranks for more than about 15 seconds and does not start, the 12Volts (power) to the fuel injectors and Ignition are cut off by the PCM. Code 12 is battery recently disconnected, 55 is end of test. Code 26 INJ 1 peak current High resistance condition detected in the INJ 1 injector bank or circuit.
