Rookie

Hi, 1991 ford probe here i need some help with. car turns over but wont start, new fuel pump,new relay,and inertia switch seems fine.pump works when jumped.found a couple blown fuses under dash -replaced,there was a wire under back seat going to fuel pump that had 2 more blown fuses,bypassed it for now,now all looks good but pump will not come on...any help?

I had the same problem with a 1991 probe. Turned out to be the distributor shaft bearing was worn and no spark was coming out because the gap inside the distributor was too large. Disconnect 1 plug wire and Check for spark at the wire when turning over the engine. I usually just put a screwdriver in the end of the plugwire and lay it near something under the hood that is grounded. Then watch for spark when the engine is turned over.

i will check..but still when i turn key to the on position,the fuel pump will not come on.
