The firing order would not change while you are driving so I don't think that is your problem with your 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass. You may however have another ignition related problem. It is not uncommon for crankshaft position sensors or ignition modules to cause these kinds of problems. It may be a good idea to have the problem diagnosed by a qualified shop instead of just replacing parts.
...just won't fire. i drove it yesterday just fine but it sat over night and got cold and now it won't start. we tried ether there's heet in the fuel. only happens in the winter.
...n it warmed up it started running badly then stalled. It progressively got worse until now it won't start at all. When it was starting it cranked up immediately after turning the key but as it warmed...
...nd whatever info needed for testing all the sensors the car has. it dies after it warms up and won't start until it cools down. got a friend coming to look at it tommorrow and he needs the ohm readings...
We put gas into the car and replaced the spark plugs. Then the car wouldn't start until we used starter fluid. We can smell gas but it won't stay running. CONFUSED HELP PLEASE
