1996 Geo Tracker Question: won't run

 Rookie

my tracker has been put into time, the distributor cap has been changed, put a new rotor button. It started and ran then it quit running as soon as i tried to drive it and it did not have spark. What would make it not have spark.

    Hey Rick, can you give us a little more info? Did you have any problems before setting the timing and replacing the cap and rotor?

    it ran fine it over heated and i had the exhaust valves redone and the head resurfaced and put it back together it ran than quit and now won't start
