Question: wont go into reverse even when car is not running,all forward gears are fine

clutch feels good,trans is locked out of reverse

    shift rail issue. take it to a trans shop and have them check it and give you a bid.

    thank you for your prompt reply. im capable of replacing the trans,clutch,pressure plate and throwout bearing,in your opinion would i be better off replacing the trans with a reman

    thank you again,i will replace trans and clutch.prob cost 2x as much at a trans shop,i can get a reman trans w/2yr warr for 650$.last weekend i did timing belt &water pump,susp parts,drive axles,wheel bearings,and exhaust.car is in great shape so it will be worth it to repair,thank you
