Question: wont drive forward unless winter button is on

when u put it in drive, low,2,3 it will not drive, but if u hit the winter button it will and it will go in reverse.

    is this all wheel drive??

    i will assume it is. i would check the axles first for a failed one as it only fails in 2 wheel drive.
    otherwise, it sounds like a transfer case failure.

    no u push button to put into 4 wheel drive and if not in 4 it is rear wheel drive

    it is actually in all wheel drive at that point. when out of winter mode, just the fronts drive the car. when in winter mode all 4 drive the car.
