won't back up on 1995 Ford F-250

it will go forward but won't back up?????

You could have a transmission range sensor issue. But more likely there is a transmission problem internally. Check your fluid level first - is it full and clean?

Yes it is full of fluid, and it's clean,, so what do you think,,thanks for your responds,,please respond again,,,

The transmission range sensor (TR sensor) is the sensor that tells the processor what gear you should be in, so that it switches the transmission to that gear. If there is trouble at that sensor or its wiring connector, it may not operate properly, such as selecting Reverse. Test that... ...and if the TR and connector tests ok, drop the transmission oil pan and look for tell tale signs of debris or damage - how much metal is on the magnet in the pan, any chunks, etc...
