  I believe in trying to keep things local and wanted to give the local guy a shot.
  My vehicle was at their shop for a few weeks and nothing was done. When I finally got them, the quotes for repair were absolutely ridiculous. After weeks with zero repairs done and the inconvenience of being without a car for weeks...) I pulled the plug and asked for my car back. They charged me $200 for their time, which is terrible customer service, BUT I got my car repaired elsewhere for $5000 less than Wittneben's quote.

  I knew the owner prior to taking our vehicle to Wittenben Auto. However, I would not recommend this business. They are family owned and I was willing to give them a shot.... but when they misdiagnosed the problem, some true colors began to shine through. After the vehicle was at their shop for almost a week, I was told that the work was done. He said there was still a noise in the front end and that I should drive it for a week and let him know what I thought. When I asked where the noise was coming from, he did not know (which was the second sign of more trouble ahead). He had to call a local transmission repair mechanic to confirm what the real problem was. Because ABS service lights were on, they went no further in their initial diagnosis. We now have new brakes and hubs on a vehicle that is essentially junk. Avoid my $988.00 mistake…at least someone will benefit from my experience.

  Wittneben Auto Service is great! I know I can trust them with the quality of their work. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else for repairs. They're friendly and honest and will even pick you or your vehicle up and drop you off for customer convenience!
