Wiper does not stop when wipers are turned to off position. Sometimes wipers continue to operate even after key is removed from ignition.
Erractic wiper problems are usually caused by wiper motor partially submerged in water by the front cowl. The drainage system is susceptible to getting plugged by the drain hoses by small leaves etc. Remedy is topull drain hoses off and flush with hose. Drill a few pilot holes that will drain onto manifold of motor preventing future clogs. Allow the wiper motor to fully dry out, it should restore normal operation. Alternatively you can spray the wiper motor with wd-40, it will fix the problem quicker. Good luck!
