just bought a 1996 C280 and the wiper is stuck on. interval setting is to zero and nothing seems to shut this off

   Rookie

  Change wiper motor. I bought one for $100. I am a DIY and saved over $1,000 compared with dealer.

• Single wiper stuck on
  The wiper won't shut off even though the wand has the setting to zero. Same wand has Highbeam and directionals. One repair estimate was $1000.
