wiper motor on driver side stopped working, how to fix?

  Try tightening the wiper arms, the nut that holds it on can come loose and cause one side to stop working.

  also on my 97 , the plastic/ nylon , male to female part that locks the wiper arms together gets worn and will not hold forever. if you put back together , it may work for a while but will in time come apart from other wiper arms. it in not expensive to replace
