Some lunatic shot an air gun pellet into my windshield. The puncture does not penetrate completely and is quite small. Can it be repaired without replacing the windshield and if so, how much should it cost?

    Yes, the divot can be fixed without replacing the entire windshield. Griot's Garage (http://www.griotsgarage.com) sells a kit so that you can make this repair yourself. I've heard windshield repair places charges 60 - 100 dollars per chip.
