WINDOW MASTER CONTROL SWITCH on 2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac

DRIVERS WINDOW SWITCH GOES DOWN BUT HAS PROBLEM CONNECTING TO GO UP I BELIEVE THE TERMINAL NEEDS CLEANING I REMOVED THE SWITCH BUT NEED TO REMOVE THE BUTTON TO CLEAN TERMINAL QUESTION IS HOW TO POP THE BUTTON OFF WITH OUT BREAKING THE SWITCH ?

Lots of these switches can be disassemble by carefully releasing the tabs holding the thing together, if so equipped.

Thanks for your response. I unclipped the module to where the circuit board is exposed on the under side but to remove the board from casing the buttons must be removed I was trying to figure out how they are held on ? by glue or some kinda snap on ? the fix is easy just trying to not break it while fixing it. By the way the contact point on these gets corrosion and dirt or light arcing from the combination. A light cleaning with a pencil eraser usualy do's the trick. It is the button removal that has me puzzled. This is worth the fix at $75.00 for the WINDOW MASTER CONTROL SWITCH . Thanks once again for your help.

Don't get your hopes up too far; the switch probably will need replaced. They are not typically very robust in the Ford products.
