2003 Nissan 350Z Question: Window Automatically Rolls Down When Closing Door

When closing the driver side door, the window will automatically roll a quarter of the way down. It will do this repeatedly with no rhyme or reason.

    Customer Concern: The driver's window goes up and then comes back down about 5 inches.
    Tests/Procedures: 1. Reset the limit switch by raising the glass to the top position. Then press and hold the reset switch that is in the door (door panel removed) and lower the glass to the bottom position (don't use the automatic portion of the power window switch). Release the reset switch and verify that the reset switch returned to its original position. Then raise the glass to the top position and verify window operation.
    Potential Causes: Limit Switch

    Tech Tips: Needs to reset the limit switch.
