Why does my truck make a winding sound when changing gears when I drive off?

Some Trailblazers have had problems with the cooling fan clutch sticking which causes excessive fan noise, this is a very loud roaring noise. Could that be it? If not Please try and explain the noise your trailblazer is making a little more clearly.
