Worst customer service ever! My husband took his truck in to have them fix it and they said that two things were wrong but it would be better to replace the whole transmission for $3200 instead of just fix the two seals. So we decided to look else where to have it fixed and found that Hansers would replace the transmision for only $1900. So my husband went to pick it up to day and they killed the battery and refused to charge it. Jake has been rude to my husband multiple times.

Last August we took a ‘96 Yukon in for freon and got a $1200 repair quote. Short story, the work was not all necessary, so we got freon & left. After having repair done at our previous mechanic in Livingston, we went back to discuss it and Willard’s just defended his estimate and charges.

Willard’s invoice said “the system was almost empty" yet stated they “recovered 1.5 lbs.” freon. With the 2 lbs. they added, makes a total of 3.5 – except manufacturer specs say it uses 2.4. They also said the belt was frayed & the tensioner was dangerously loose. We had just had major engine work done mid-March, so we refused the repair & visited our previous mechanic. Willard's threatened repeatedly saying he wouldn't drive it around the block. After talking with our Livingston mechanic, no promises but I drove it low speed/no AC to Livingston with no problems & no belt noise. Our Livingston mechanic reminded us that he had DRAINED ALL THE FREON when he did the engine work in March. He replaced the tensioner & said the belt did not show wear so he didn’t replace that.

We went back to Willard’s to have them explain, but they just criticized our Livingston mechanic, even though they did not know him, and said if we didn’t do it their way, they would refuse to do work for us. Our Livingston mechanic also does warranty work and has never been rude. In our 25+ years in Montana, we have been accustomed to work by two shops in Livingston that earned our loyalty and trust. We are still looking for one in Billings.
