I replaced the power steering pump and the steering is so tight I have to use all my strength to turn

What caused you to replace the pump in the first place?
Do you have hydro-boost brakes? Could be causing an issue with the pump and steering assist if you do.

ITMITE NEED BALL JOINT THEY WILL FREEZE UP AND DO THAT JACK IT UP AND REMOVE THE WHEEL AND REMOVE OUTER TIE ROD END AND TURN SPINDLE SEE IF TURNS TRY BOTH SIDES THAT WAY ON IS PROBY FROZEN
