when I turn the key there is a click sound

Could be a dirty battery cable or a dead battery, try jump starting and if that works its a dead battery, If the battery is good maybe the starter failed.

It's the PCM & TCM . Just had the exact same issue. Problem solved with junk yard parts $90. Dealer wanted $1100 to fix with new parts. Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Transmission Control Module (TCM) 2002 Ford E-350, 5.4L V8; 88k miles Turner-Security.com

...first. I think it is the throtle sensor just off the left side of the injector pump. When it will not start I put a little water on this part and it then starts right up. Does this sound right to you?
A defective thick film ignition (TFI) module can cause the engine to stall while driving, or the engine may not start. A failed TFI module will require replacement.
Am considering changing the fuel filler tube but not sure that will resolve. Trouble code shows P0443 & P0449
