will not rev past 2300rpm on 2002 Hyundai Accent

disconect idle control sensor it will rev on up but the cooling fan will not work. i said it was a 2005 but it isb a 2002 sorry

Why did you disconnect the Idle control sensor? Do you mean the idle air control valve? Was there an rpm issue to start with? Do you possibly mean the Throttle Position Sensor? Do you have a Check Engine Light on and and did you ever retrieve the original codes?
