Question: Will not come out of 4 wheel drive

Truck will not come out of 4 wheel drive but I can hear a clicking down by the transfer case actuator when I push 2 wheel drive. When pushing the button, nothing happens. It has a push button 4 wheel drive 4 Hi - 4 Lo - 2 Hi & Auto 4. The message center says "Service F.W.D." Could it be the transfer case actuator or the front axel actuator?

    Yes to all your questions. Have heard of weak actuators causing problems. Especially in cold climates.
