2000 Toyota Solara Question: will a failed igniter cause engine not to start/2000 solara

I changed a bad ignition switch, now engine wont start, is it possible that the igniter might be bad too ?

    If it is the speed do not gets up? If it is the the carburetor debugging carburetor mixer too thick, EFI check oil pressure, see the fuel injectors or without oil leakage. A push to find if possible oil more. Good luck to you!

    does the eng turn over but not start,if so ck spark and fuel pressure
