2002 Mitsubishi Montero Question: whyu would fuel gauge not work?

 Rookie

Replaced gauge and fuel pump, still nothing. Any ideas?

    poss fuel tank sending unit is bad or you may have sensor arm stuck on something. did it work b4 fuel pump was installed

    The instrument cluster is at fault. They can be repaired here: http://www.mrwhizard.com As well if temp gauge rises to hot for no reason, the cluster is at fault, this problem can also be repaired in 2001-2003 Montero.
