Question: WHY WOULD I NOT BE GETTING ANY POWER TO THE FUEL PUMP.RELAY AND FUSE ARE OK

JUST INSTALLED A NEW FUEL PUMP, FILTER AND HARNESS KIT FOR THIS BRAVADA AND IT WAS WORKING FINE. NOT SURE IF THIS WAS THE REAL CAUSE OF FAILURE.ORIGINAL COMPLAINT WAS THAT VEHICLE WOULD NOT START AT TIMES.NO SOUND FROM PUMP.SWITCHED RELAY WITH ONE FROM AC , NO HELP.FOLLOWED HARNESS UP THRU AND TO FUSE BLOCK.NO SHORTS FOUND.AFTER JUMPING VEHICLE PUMP CAME AND STARTED FINE.DOES OIL PRESSURE EFFECT THIS PUMP?WHAT IS SENDING THE DC VOLTS?

    Have you got a wiring diagram for the fuel pump circuit. I will forward it to you from the address you posted this question from then you can see which wires need to ground or get power.There is a company that independent auto repair shops get their information from, this same information is available inexpensively for people that work on their own cars.. The information is year make and model specific, covering repair procedures, torque specifications, fluid capacities and specifications, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect....
