Question: Why wont my driver side door close?

I drove the car for 3 days no problem Went to drive it today and the driver side door will not close locks work but the door itself stays open.

    Did u check the metal "catch" that attaches to the bolt/metal hook in the door? Sometimes the hinge in the door closes by bumping into it
